Marketing the Port of Antwerp

Even marketing departments need a bit of marketing from time to time. After all, the world (and your shareholders) have to know what you’ve been doing all year long. The marketing department of the Port of Antwerp is a case in point: on their yearly event, they inform all stakeholders of the initiatives that were started up to further the renown of the port. But how do you inform your guests of all these diverse initiatives without them getting bored?

 

You make a movie. A movie that bundles all the info in an attractive package. That is not as easy as it sounds, even though a port offers great shooting opportunities. But a lot of the marketing events and projects are not as photogenic. Or there wasn’t any footage available, only the odd smartphone photo. That’s the material Manitoba started working with. We found creative ways of presenting all these different images (of varying quality). This is the end result.
